Cloud & Backend SystemsBackends that stay fast, observable and affordable as you grow.
We design and build APIs, services, databases and cloud infrastructure with clear architecture, automated deployments and the monitoring you need to run them with confidence.
APIs, databases and infrastructure built to scale with you.
What you get
- API and service design
- Data layer
- Infrastructure as code
- Observability
01The problem
Backends usually fail slowly, then all at once.
A quick prototype becomes the production system. Deployments are manual, nobody knows why it's slow, cloud bills creep up and a single failure takes everything down.
- Manual, risky deployments
- No visibility into errors, latency or usage
- Growing cloud costs without clear cause
- Single points of failure and no recovery plan
02The solution
Architecture sized for today, with room for tomorrow.
We choose simple, proven architecture, automate deployment, instrument everything and document it — so the system is easy to operate and extend.
- 01
API and service design
Well-structured REST or GraphQL APIs with versioning, auth and rate limits.
- 02
Data layer
Relational schemas, caching, search and vector stores chosen per need.
- 03
Infrastructure as code
Reproducible environments with CI/CD pipelines and rollbacks.
- 04
Observability
Logs, metrics, traces and alerts wired in from day one.
03How it works
From request to result, step by step.
- 1
Request enters
Traffic reaches an API behind a CDN, gateway and authentication.
- 2
Services process
Stateless services apply business logic; background jobs handle slow work.
- 3
Data persists
Transactions land in the database; caches and queues keep things responsive.
- 4
Everything is observed
Metrics and traces feed dashboards and alerts.
04Typical use cases
Where it fits.
APIs for web and mobile apps
Secure, documented APIs that multiple front ends can share.
Background processing
Queues and workers for imports, notifications, AI jobs and reports.
Cloud migration
Moving applications from servers or shared hosting to managed cloud services.
Performance and cost reviews
Finding bottlenecks and waste in existing systems.

06FAQ
Common questions.
Do we need Kubernetes?
Often not. Many systems run well on managed platforms or containers without Kubernetes. We recommend it only when the scale or team structure genuinely benefits.
Which cloud provider do you use?
We work across major providers and edge platforms, and pick based on your existing accounts, compliance needs, team familiarity and cost.
Can you take over an existing backend?
Yes. We start with a review of code, infrastructure and monitoring, then stabilise and document before adding new features.
